| Evidence | This population was also positive for Marco expression coinciding with the erythrophagocytosis marker Hba-a1 (double-positive in Figure 2F). In addition, a strong signal for the previously identified marker gene for erythrophagocytes, Marco, and for the gene expressing the heme-inducible transcription factor, Spic, was observed. |
