the two smaller Human clusters (2 and 3) were not enriched with classical FLC markers. Rather, they were characterized by expression of extracellular matrix components, including collagen 1- alpha-1 and multiple other forms of collagen (Supplementary Fig S2). Mesenchymal and stromal marker genes, such as alphaSMA (ACTA2), were also most abundant in clusters 2 and 3 (Fig 2C). Therefore, these clusters are Human tumor-associated stromal cells that have been maintained in explant passaging. |
