Evidence Tuft-2 cells expressed significantly higher levels of the Th2 promoting cytokine, thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP)34 (FDR<0.1, Mann-Whitney U-test, Fig. 4c), which we confirmed with smFISH and qPCR (Extended Data Fig. 7f, g). Tuft cells also specifically expressed receptors for the Th2-related cytokines Il4ra and Il13ra1 and for IL-25 (Il17rb) Surprisingly, Ptprc, encoding the pan-immune marker CD45, was expressed strongly and exclusively by Tuft-2 cells
