Visualization of the expression of a marker genes for pluripotent cells (Zfp42), epiblast stem cells(Fgf5), neuroectoderm (Sox1), and primitive streak (T). We first examined the expression of pluripotency marker genes, including Nanog, Pou5f1, and Esrrb, and confirmed that there was a gradual decrease, but not a complete loss of expression of genes from day 0 to day 6. Clusters D4_G5 and D4_G6 were characterized by high levels of pluripotency genes such as Zfp42, Dppa3, Tcf15, and Cbx7, the ESC-specific Polycomb repressive complex 1 (PRC1) member |
