Evidence | In a study on dermal aging, Sole_-Boldo et al. (2020) determined four main young fibroblast subpopulations that could be discriminated into five after secondary analysis: (i) secretory reticular (WISP2, SLPI, MFAP5, TSPAN8), (ii) secretory papillary (APCDD1, ID1, WIF1, COL18A1, PTDGS), (iii) mesenchymal (ASPN, POSTN, GPC3, TNN, SFRP1), and (iv) proinflammatory (CCL19, APOE, CXCL2, CXCL3, EFEMP1), which in turn was composed of two sub clusters. |
