Evidence | Immunofluorescence for the IM/nephron progenitor/nephron marker PAX2 was clearly higher in day 7+11 kidney micro-organoids exposed to 1_M CHIR99021 (Fig. 1D), with qPCR performed on the day 7 monolayer cultures showing increased expression of key IM/nephron progenitor markers (PAX2, WT1, LHX1, OSR1, SIX1, EYA1) as well as WNT11 and GATA3, which are expressed in the ureteric tip and collecting duct but are not unique to these sites (Fig. 1E) |
