Evidence In addition to pre-synaptic markers, we also observed expression of the post-synaptic marker HOMER1, GPHN, NLGN1, NLGN2, DLG3, DLG4 (also known as PSD95), and SHANK gene family members in both neuronal classes, although most markers showed enrichment in excitatory neurons.
